1About this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Mandira Engineering, a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Nijroop Reddy, based in Kalaburagi, Karnataka, India (“Mandira Engineering”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you use the Vijaylaxmi Structural Suite and its tools, including the M1 Isolated Footing tool, together with the website at mandiraengineering.com (collectively, the “Service”).
By creating an account, logging in, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Use & Disclaimer.
2Information we collect
We aim to collect the minimum information necessary to provide the Service. The categories are:
- Account information — your name and email address, and the login credentials associated with your account.
- Payment information — when you subscribe, your payment is processed by our third-party payment provider. We receive confirmation of your payment and your subscription status, but we do not collect or store your full card number, UPI PIN, bank credentials, or similar sensitive payment details — these are handled directly by the payment provider.
- Usage and technical information — basic information generated when you use the Service, such as login activity, log data, browser type, and similar technical details used to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
- Engineering inputs — the project data, dimensions, loads, and parameters you enter into the tools in order to perform calculations. This is treated as described in Clause 6 below.
3How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- create and manage your account and provide you access to the Service;
- process your subscription and confirm your payments;
- operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service;
- respond to your enquiries and provide support;
- send you essential service-related communications (for example, about your account, billing, or important changes); and
- comply with our legal obligations.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it.
4Cookies and login sessions
The Service uses a session cookie to keep you securely logged in while you use the tools. This cookie is necessary for the Service to function and does not track you across other websites. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
5Payment processing
Subscription payments are processed securely by a third-party payment gateway. When you make a payment, you provide your payment details directly to that provider, whose own privacy policy and terms govern the handling of those details. We receive only the information needed to confirm your payment and manage your subscription (such as a payment reference, the amount, the date, and your subscription status).
6Your engineering inputs and confidentiality
The project data and inputs you enter into the tools to run calculations remain yours. We do not claim ownership of your designs or project information.
Your engineering inputs are processed only momentarily, on our server, to perform the calculation you request, and the result is returned to you. We do not store your project inputs in a database or otherwise save them on our servers after the calculation is complete.
We treat your engineering inputs as confidential. We do not sell them, and we do not share them with third parties for their own purposes.
7How we store and protect your information
Your information is stored on secure, reputable cloud hosting infrastructure. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect your information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction — including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and hashed storage of login credentials.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
8Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it only in these limited situations:
- Service providers — with trusted third parties who help us operate the Service (such as our hosting and payment providers), who may process your information only on our instructions and for the purpose of providing those services;
- Legal requirements — where required to comply with applicable law, a valid legal request, or to protect our rights, safety, or property, or those of others.
9Data retention
We retain your account and related information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After you close your account or cancel your subscription, we may retain certain information for a reasonable period as required to comply with legal, tax, accounting, or record-keeping obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
10Your rights
You may, at any time:
- request access to the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete; or
- request deletion of your account and associated personal information, subject to any retention we are legally required to maintain.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Clause 13.
11Intended users
The Service is intended for use by qualified engineering professionals and is not directed to, or intended for use by, children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
12Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, with the “Last updated” date shown above. Your continued use of the Service after any change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
